Mortgage Company Fined £2.3 Million

According to the Telegraph, struggling home owners saw justice after the Kensington Mortgage Company agreed to pay £2.291m for unfair treatment of customers in arrears. The Financial Services Authority fined the mortgage lender £1.225m, and ordered an estimated £1.066m to be paid in compensation.

Yes, the Post Office will begin offering mortgages and other financial services from its network of 11,500 branches within the next year. The mortgages will be aimed at first-time buyers that require a 10% deposit.
